Using Primary Care to tackle Domestic Violence and Abuse in the community

Using Primary Care to tackle Domestic Violence and Abuse in the community is a survey that patients can fill out to help the following:

  • Investigate the prevalence of domestic violence and abuse (DVA) and the role of general practice in tackling DVA in the community setting.
  • Investigate the prevalence of domestic violence and abuse in the community setting
  • Identify proportion of NHS patients who agree to complete the DVA screening questionnaire.
  • Assess the proportion of NHS patients who are willing to receive further information about DVA support services during routine screening from their GP
  • Raise general awareness about DVA in the community.

To participate in this project, you must be aged over 18 – the link has been shared to all patients with a mobile number.
