If you are eligible for a flu or COVID-19 vaccination, we encourage you to get protected.

HOW TO BOOK

If you are eligible, you can book your vaccination at Fearnhead Cross Medical Centre:

🏥 In person: Speak to our reception team at the surgery.

📱 By text invitation: If you receive an invitation from us by text, use the booking link in the message to book your appointment.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

FLU VACCINATION

You may be eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination if you are:

• 65 years old or over
• Pregnant
• Aged 18 to 64 with certain health conditions
• A child aged 6 months to under 18 with certain health conditions
• Aged 2 or 3 on 31 August 2026
• In Reception to Year 11
• Living in a long-stay residential care home
• An eligible carer
• A close contact of someone who is immunocompromised
• An eligible frontline social-care worker
• Aged 16 or over and experiencing homelessness

COVID-19 VACCINATION

The autumn 2026 COVID-19 vaccination programme is for:

• Adults aged 75 and over
• Residents in care homes for older adults
• People aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
