Home Visits

Home visits are available for patients whose medical condition means they are physically unable to attend the surgery.

Please note that home visits cannot usually be provided for social or practical reasons, such as a lack of transport. Patients who are able to travel to the surgery will usually receive a more thorough assessment using the equipment and facilities available there.

If you require a home visit, please telephone the surgery before 10:30am, wherever possible, and select Option 3.

Our Reception Team will take your details and ask a few brief questions about your condition. This information will be passed to the duty GP, who will assess your request. A clinician may telephone you before arranging a home visit to ensure the most appropriate care is provided.

If a home visit is required, it will be arranged as soon as possible based on your clinical needs.
