Update to services from 20/12/2021

NHS England have declared a major incident and advised GP practices to suspend all non-essential work to deliver covid boosters. From 20.12.2021 we can only deal with urgent same day medical problems as staff have been re-deployed to COVID vaccination centres.

We still have urgent appointments for patients who require same day treatment and these are available by calling the surgery at 8.30am in the morning. Pharmacies are available to help with Minor Ailments such as colds, urinary infections, conjunctivitis and over the counter medications/advice. Please only attend A&E in serious or life threatening emergency.

If you would like to book a covid vaccination then we are inviting our patients to Spencer House in Birchwood. If you are 18+ and had your 2nd Vaccine 13+ weeks ago then we can book an appointment for you, please contact the surgery and we can send an invite message to you. We are continuing to send these invites as patients become eligible. You can also book a vaccine by visiting the NHS national booking service or calling 119.
