Closure dates:
🗓️ Monday 17th November – Friday 12th December 2025
During this time, Fearnhead Cross Medical Centre will be closed while we carry out essential refurbishment works to improve accessibility and patient facilities.
- All appointments will take place at Longford Street Surgery or via telephone
- You will still have access to the same number of clinicians
- We can also refer you to Pharmacy First or our paramedics at Birchwood Medical Centre when appropriate
- Our phone lines will remain open
Prescriptions & Sick Notes: will be sent electronically where possible.
You can request repeat prescriptions by:

- 📱 Using the NHS App
- ✉️ Submitting written requests via our outdoor prescription box at Fearnhead Cross or at Longford Street Surgery
