Fearnhead Cross Medical Centre Temporary Closure for Refurbishment

Closure dates:
🗓️ Monday 17th November – Friday 12th December 2025

During this time, Fearnhead Cross Medical Centre will be closed while we carry out essential refurbishment works to improve accessibility and patient facilities.

  • All appointments will take place at Longford Street Surgery or via telephone
  • You will still have access to the same number of clinicians
  • We can also refer you to Pharmacy First or our paramedics at Birchwood Medical Centre when appropriate
  • Our phone lines will remain open

Prescriptions & Sick Notes: will be sent electronically where possible.
You can request repeat prescriptions by:

  • 📧 Emailing cmicb-war.fearnheadcrossfax@nhs.net
  • 📱 Using the NHS App
  • ✉️ Submitting written requests via our outdoor prescription box at Fearnhead Cross or at Longford Street Surgery

Please note: The rest of the Fearnhead Cross building will be closed during this period for safety reasons.
