Colour COPD

Colour COPD is a research project that looks at the use of Sputum Colour Charts to guide antibiotic self-treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD in patients with COPD

To be eligible to participate in this project you must be:

• Aged 18+
• Have a clinical diagnosis of COPD
• ≥2 AECOPD(acute exacerbation) in the previous 12 months according to the patient or ≥1 hospital admission for AECOPD(acute exacerbation)
• Be able to use a sputum colour chart (provided by the research team)
