Opening times

Our opening ours are 8.30-6.00 Monday – Friday  (8.00-8.30 and 6.00-6.30 for emergencies only)

For medical attention outside of the Surgery hours, please dial 111 to speak to NHS 111.

Covid Vaccinations

We run covid vaccination clinics at Longford Street Surgery, if you are eligible for your vaccine then you can book in by calling the surgery. We will also send eligible patients a text message allowing them to book. This is currently for over 18’s only

If you have children aged 12-17 that need to book or manage Covid vaccination appointments, you can do so by clicking here.

Face masks

It is compulsory that all patients are required to bring and wear a face mask when attending the Surgery. Your mask does not need to be a medical standard mask.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions can be ordered via online access, e-consult or email using our generic email address cmicb-war.fearnheadcrossfax@nhs.net, prescriptions can also be posted in the letter box outside either Surgery.

Appointments

We offer a variety of appointments. In addition to face-to-face consultations, we are offering consultations online or over the phone. This can be a convenient and flexible way to receive healthcare but if you would prefer to see a GP or healthcare professional in person then this can be arranged for you.

The Process of attending for a face to face appointment

• Please wear a face covering
• Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery.
• On arrival we will take your temperature and you will be advised of where to sit whilst you wait for your appointment.
• Our waiting room is socially distanced to keep all staff and patients safe. 

Please be patient with our staff who are working hard at this time to still give you the service that you need, but who like you, are scared and worried and have families they are trying to protect at home.

Verbal abuse is not acceptable
