How to book an appointment

Pre-bookable Appointments

Pre-bookable appointments can be booked in advance with a range of healthcare professionals, including:

• GPs
• Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
• Practice Nurses
• Clinical Pharmacists
• Healthcare Assistants

You can book a routine appointment in the following ways:

NHS App or Online Services

The quickest and easiest way to book an appointment is through the NHS App or our online services. You can view available appointments and choose a time that suits you without having to telephone the surgery.

If you are unable to download the NHS App, our Reception Team can help you register for online services so you can continue to book appointments online.

PATCHS

PATCHS is available for routine appointment requests only.

To request an appointment, complete a PATCHS form by clicking here. You will first need to create an account and answer a few questions about your condition.

Once we receive your request, we will contact you within one working day to:

• answer your query
• arrange a routine appointment, or
• direct you to another NHS service if appropriate.

If your problem is urgent, PATCHS will advise you to telephone the surgery directly or seek appropriate urgent care to ensure you receive same-day treatment.

In Person

You can also book an appointment by visiting either surgery and speaking to a member of our Reception Team.

Urgent or Same-Day Appointments

If you feel you need an urgent appointment, please telephone the surgery from 8:00am. Our trained Patient Advisors will ask for a brief description of your symptoms so that you can be directed to the most appropriate clinician or service.

Depending on your needs, you may be offered an appointment with:

• a GP
• an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
• a Practice Nurse
• a Clinical Pharmacist
• our in-house Minor Ailments Clinic
• a Paramedic

Where appropriate, we may refer you to another NHS service to ensure you receive the right care as quickly as possible. This may include:

• Pharmacy First, where participating pharmacies can assess and treat certain common conditions and issue prescriptions where appropriate.
• A local Urgent Treatment Centre.
• NHS 111 for urgent medical advice.
• Accident & Emergency (A&E) in the event of a medical emergency.

Appointment Times

Routine appointments are available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm.
