NHS App

The NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services from your smartphone, tablet or computer.

You do not need to contact the practice to register. Simply download the app and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.

With the NHS App you can:

• Check your symptoms and get trusted NHS advice
• Book and manage GP appointments
• Order repeat prescriptions
• View your GP medical record
• Access your COVID-19 vaccination record and certificates
• Submit online requests through PATCHS

Patient Access

If you prefer, you can also use Patient Access to access many of the same online services.

To register for Patient Access, please visit the practice with a valid form of photo identification.

With Patient Access you can:

• Book and manage appointments
• Order repeat prescriptions
• View your GP medical record
• Access PATCHS

Booking appointments online

We offer a range of routine appointments that can be booked online. Online appointments are not suitable for urgent medical problems.

If you need an urgent appointment, please contact the practice by telephone. When the practice is closed, contact NHS 111, or call 999 in a life-threatening emergency.

Appointments available to book online may include:

• GP appointments
• Nurse clinician appointments
• Cervical screening (smear tests)
• Contraception reviews
• Blood tests
• Blood pressure checks
• Medication reviews
• Long-term condition reviews (such as asthma, COPD and diabetes)

Please ensure you select the correct appointment type and clinician. Appointments booked incorrectly may need to be cancelled if the clinician is unable to deal with your concern.
